Empowering Volunteers to Make a Difference

Break the cycle of poverty, reduce inequality and empower the next generation creating a brighter tomorrow.

We welcome volunteers in every part of Sparkle’s operations team – admin, marketing, fundraising/partnerships, and volunteer management. Please see current opportunities.

We welcome volunteers of all ages. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have permission from their parent/guardian to volunteer.
We are grateful when volunteers have specific skillsets which they would like to bring to Sparkle, for example in marketing, law, finance, etc. However, we believe that everyone has something to offer, so a specific skill or qualification is not a requirement.
We ask that you consider carefully if you have time to commit to volunteering. Whilst we do accept applications for ad-hoc volunteer work, we are ideally looking for people who can consistently commit to at least 1 hour per week.
Although volunteering by definition is unpaid and we do not provide payment in any form, we do run a Volunteer Recognition Programme, intended to appreciate the efforts of volunteers. The programme involves tokens of appreciation for volunteers who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to Sparkle.

Yes, you can volunteer remotely. See our opportunities here [insert link] and filter to remote.
No matter what you are doing, volunteering with Sparkle creates an opportunity to positively impact the lives of Sparkle’s beneficiaries – vulnerable children and communities – in Malawi. [Link to blog articles from Malawi to demonstrate impact.]
